2025 Beneficiaries Announced




The Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County
​​
The Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County is a community based, non-profit dedicated to providing services to children who are victims of abuse and their non-offending families. The CACCC also provides child abuse prevention education and collaborates with a network of professionals to protect the most vulnerable members of our community. They have requested funding support for vital office space that's a central, accessible and welcoming place for providing services to local children and families in need.

The Granite VNA
Granite VNA is also a community based non-profit, dedicated to providing comprehensive home health and hospice services to individuals of all ages across the state. They provide compassionate, patient-centered care in homes, facilities and at their Hospice House, with services ranging from clinical care to caregiver respite to companionship and bereavement support. They have requested funding support for local charitable care, bereavement support groups, and community outreach and education.​
Kingswood Cal Ripken Baseball/Softball League
Kingswood Cal Ripken Baseball League is a non-profit organization who for nearly 30 years has been serving young athletes, aged 4-17, from the towns of Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, Brookfield, Ossipee, Effingham, New Durham, Middleton and Alton. They are proud to have 250+ local kids (and 80+ volunteer coaches) annually participate in their t-ball, baseball, softball, Fall Ball, Babe Ruth and summer travel teams. They have requested funding support to build a new batting cage at The Nick, equipment improvements, and run clinics and educational workshops.

Wolfeboro Community Television​
Wolfeboro Community TV is now a non-profit, media broadcasting service, providing public access programming for the town of Wolfeboro, including a 24/7 bulletin board, local government meetings, Kingswood & Brewster Academy sports coverage, school board meetings, student concerts and other community events - both on local cable channels and streaming on YouTube. They have requested funding support to purchase a much needed editing computer and equipment improvements.

Application Process
​
The Wolfeboro Festival of Trees Committee meets in October to choose that year’s beneficiary(s). Any greater Wolfeboro area non-profit service organization interested in being considered, should submit a letter of application containing the following information by October 1, 2025.

Non-profit status qualification (IRS 501(c)3 designation letter)

Mission Statement

Size (people served, number of volunteers, number of paid employees)

Specific use for the funds including estimate of how much is needed- details should include expected impact, community availability and timeline

Annual budget including all funding sources such as grants and endowment income
Responsibilities:
If chosen, your organization must be willing to participate in the event. Specifically, the beneficiary is asked to:

Supply and decorate a tree for the event

Provide a mailing list of members to be used for invitations to the Gala
-
Designate a liaison to attend FOT planning meetings
-
Provide and serve refreshments (cookies & punch) during the weekend public hours
